Small Business Women's Network (Jarpuk) Loft Guides PMI Families to Create NIB for Business Legality

Women are often identified as the number 2 (second) caste after men. However, this is in stark contrast to the role of women in human life and civilization. Women are as important as men, naturally women and men should walk together. Like this business group in Central Lombok Regency, which created a women's business group called JARPUK (Women's Small Business Business Network).
Small Business Women's Network (Jarpuk) Loft Guides PMI Families to Create NIB for Business Legality

adbmi.org – The Small Business Women's Network (Jarpuk) in Rindang, Central Lombok, guides PMI families in Kuta Mandalika village to fill out the form to obtain their Business Identification Number (NIB). This is done to support the businesses of PMI families so that they have a business identity.

The ADBMI Foundation's collaboration with Jarpuk Rindang apart from guiding them in making business permits, also facilitates MSMEs, especially PMI families, to maximize their businesses.

"The business license is proof that the goods we offer have strong legality and have been officially registered," said Masnim, chairman of Jarpuk Rindang, Sunday, 26/6/2022 when delivering the material.

Currently, Masnim continued, NIB processing needs to be done online. Masnim added, "apart from permits, we will also provide assistance regarding business development plans, how to promote well and business management."

This program, which was conceived by the ADBMI consortium, will facilitate 300 heads of families to improve the economy after the Covid-19 pandemic. This program is available in several villages in Central Lombok district, Pujut sub-district, namely in Sengkol, Tanak Awu and Kuta Mandalika villages.

Moreover, with financial problems, continued Masnim, we often cannot differentiate between business finances and household finances.

"This is a common problem that must be eradicated in people's lives," said the chairman of Jarpuk Rindang, Central Lombok.

Yanti, one of the micro business actors, said that obtaining this permit is very important for business, especially the wet cake business she owns.

"I have opened a wet cake business for two years, but I still don't have a business license. "Thank God there is this training, I hope my business permit will make my business run more smoothly," he said while attending gender-based household economic management training in the Kuta village office hall.

Yanti hopes that the creation of NIBs for business actors in Kuta Mandalika will open up more opportunities for MSMEs.

“Currently, my business only goes to markets and neighbors' merchandise. "In the future, we must be able to enter modern retail because we are processing the permits," he said.
